Going dark.
So, I had mentioned over on my Everyday El-Jay that I was going to be determining whether or not to continue with ...quixotic or not, and I have come to the decision to go on a pseudo-hiatus.
What does "pseudo-hiatus" mean? It means that the comic will still be here in it's current form so that, if y'all want to view the older comics, y'all can. It also means that I'll like be posting my little squid drawings from which the comic originally derived but without me having to come up with punch lines. <--Which is totally not hard to do, stack sitting here waiting to become comics.
Most importantly, it also means that I won't feel guilty when I don't have the time or the inclination to post a little squid picture because that's been the problem: I have a zillion things going on (which you wouldn't think so with the full-time artist gig, but I always feel so--busy. <-- I don't really think that I'm actually busy; I think it's an illusion.
Or a maneuver.
Or something.
I am, however, trying to get the business running (or, at least, be a business by technicality) while continuing my art practice, and there's a job floating around that I might yet get.
So, ...quixotic or not as a weekly comic is getting the ax.
If, for some reason that I cannot possibly fathom, y'all just can't live without my crazy silliness, I do keep a studio blog on Wordpress called quixotism and curiosity: from the tentacle-made studios where y'all can find me most of the time.
We've had a good time, I think.
Courage.
